As a Local Distribution Company (LDC), Fort Albany Power Corporation is responsible for the distribution of electricity to the Fort Albany First Nation community.  We maintain local distribution wires in order to provide reliable and safe power to our customers. We deal directly with residents and small business, responding to outages, handling inquiries and billing. The Ontario Energy Board (OEB) regulates all of our services and rates.

Fort Albany Power Corporation also participates as a one third owner of Five Nations Energy Inc. (FNEI), the electricity transmitter responsible for the delivery of electricity to our distribution substation.
